My name is Erin. Not many people call me that online, though. Usually, it's Sati. Or Melian, Avagail, Kimiko. There's been others, but they are inconsequential. I don't like using my real name, not for privacy purposes, but because I don't like myself. I would much rather be one of my characters. They are not alternate personalities, though; they are merely different aspects of my personality. Sati is flirtatious, Melian is generally sweet and innocent, Avagail is depressed with a dirty mind, and Kimiko's basically the bitch. Granted, there is much more to each character than that, but a bio is not the place for character analysis.

I am a self-proclaimed Smashing Pumpkins freak. Their music is so vast, so varying, that I can find a song for whatever mood I am experiencing. And I like that. I need music that can vary as quickly as my moods do.

I call myself a gamer, for lack of a better term. There is something about a chick gamer that drives the boys crazy. I MUD mostly, playing Materia Magica (Moongate to those old skool enough to remember) and Deckeon (a kickass Shadowrun MUD). Recently, I have gotten into playing table top, Dungeons and Dragons mostly. Pretty soon I'll be trying more games, like Call of Cthulhu and Vampire: the Masquerade.

My life thus far has been dysfunctional, and that is putting it nicely. I have a screwed up family, and as a result I am screwed up. I have issues. Lots of them. Reading the journal will attest to that. Don't bother telling me that I'm not really that screwed up, or tell me that I'm okay. The people that used to do that were just in denial. Coming from a majorly messed up family will, as a result, majorly fuck you up. End of story. Insert therapist here.
